  2. This is copied verbatim from the mod sheet I received with my rig...

  6. Expanded Receive 110-180, 300-500 MHz
  7. Expanded Transmit 130-180, 400-470 MHz
  8.  
  9. NOT LEGAL IN U.S.A - FOR EXPORT ONLY

  11. o Remove Antenna and Battery.
  12. o Remove four screws on bottom holding battery track.
  13. o Remove the four (black) screws holding rear case.
  14. o Slowly... open the front cover from tranceiver and lay both halves on
  15. table.
  16. o Note positioning of white paper insulator in right half of radio and
  17. lift out
  18.   (don't throw away)
  19. o Carefully locate Jumper Pad 13 and remove solder.
  20. o Re-install white paper insulator, make sure ground tab slides through
  21. the 
  22.   paper insulator.
  23. o Close radio back up (Careful not to pinch the ribbon cable near lithium 
  24.   battery when closing halves).
  25. o Re-install the four (black) screws holding rear case.
  26. o Re-install the four (small silver) screws on bottom holding battery
  27. track to
  28.   radio body.
  29. o Attach Antenna and Battery.
  30. o Turn off Radio.... Press and hold both arrow keys while turning on the
  31. Radio.
  32. o Modification Complete.

  61. MHz...
  62. trunking radio, cell phone (I would *never* listen to that), 33cm ham
